Responsibilites and Duties
- Monitor all dogs
- Play and interact with the dogs
- Clean up messes promptly to maintain a safe and clean
- Build relationships with humans and dogs
- Be ready to diffuse situations when dogs may be playing too rough
- Promptly break-up and handle any scuffles and document the situation before leaving work for the day
Qualification and Skills
- Prior professional dog handling preferred
- Good interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail- Cleaning is a priority in order to keep the area safe and sanitized
- Must be comfortable around all dogs of all breeds and sizes
- Responsible, reliable, honest, and able to work well independently and as a team
- Ability to be physically active during shifts and lift up to 50 lbs
